The common perception of how government agencies use technology is pretty much in line to what people see in the movies. There are high-tech computers that cull billions or trillions of bits of data in seconds, laser eye scanners, powerful satellites that see inside walls and so on. Unfortunately, what’s seen in movies is just that, imagination.

This is especially true with the secretive National Security Agency. The NSA is in charge with following and compiling data on individuals that may be major security risks. While the surveillance agency certainly uses advanced technology, it also has relied on the technology of the biggest telecommunications corporations in operation.

Phone Networks

Under special national security agreements, the NSA has tapped into the lines of all the major telephony players. Not only have they tapped into actual fiber-optic phone cables, usually at major transfer centers on the coasts to intercept international calls, but also the digital networks of phone companies that manage cellular phones.

Internet Services

The convergence of technology has allowed most telecommunications companies to offer more than one service, and now feature telephony along with Internet access and cable television. Agents from the NSA can easily monitor the movements of users across the Internet spectrum of every telecom giant. They can study online correspondence like email and chat, as well as browsing habits to certain websites that have been flagged because of questionable content. They might be even able to get into websites like http://www.direct.tv and the like to see your entertainment activities.

Satellites and GPS

To help manage their networks, especially with cellphones and GPS tracking, telecom corporations own or lease satellites. Having access to these satellites allows surveillance agencies like the NSA to follow pings that track the location of cell phones and the movements of suspicious individuals that might be traveling with GPS devices.

Headquarters

While it can be assured that the NSA headquarters are a boon for futuristic technology, so are the offices of telecom carriers that produce them. That is why the NSA has even set up shop in some telecom offices in closed-off rooms.

To catch the bad guys, agencies like the NSA use the best resources, wherever they are.

When it comes to the cell phone tracking debate, most participants seem to at least be wary of the implications. In essence, the newer cell phones on the market are being fitted with special chips that will allow for government tracking by GPS signal – some ad networks may also have access as well so they can send targeted advertisements.

Many people are very opposed to having their cell phone act like a tracking device. It takes away a huge level of privacy that Americans hold very dear. The reluctance may stem from the apprehension of a new thing, however, most people seem to reference how this would truly be the end of the Wild West days. Funny enough, the government tracking doesn’t seem to be meeting the largest part of the resistance. The fact that ad networks may be able to access the information appears to be more disturbing for most. After all, who wants to disclose where they are paying for toilet paper? For more of the latest information on the debate, you should check out Modsaf.org.

However, there are some that look at cell phone tracking as a positive change. After all, if you ever went missing or were seriously injured in a car accident, it would be much easier for rescue crews to track and locate you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t turn on and off – you would be tracked to the store, to friends, to the gas station, anywhere you went. This increased level of privacy intrusion is too intense for most American citizens to grin and bear with, and the changes are meeting a large resistance.

April 15 is a date that many people in the United States dread. For a number of years this date has been associated with the day that taxes are due for a large majority of Americans. All over the country people sit crunching numbers and finishing their taxes before the deadline. However, in recent years that has all changed due to technology.

Online tax preparation services have helped many Americans save time, energy and money by offering an easy way to complete their taxes. This is a look at exactly how online tax preparation software programs have helped many Americans.

Cost Involved

Image via Wikipedia

Many online tax preparation services are free to use. This allows many Americans to take advantage of tax help for a very low cost. It used to be tax advice and help could only be sought by experts and could cost a huge fee, but with online tax preparation services it can reduce the cost associated with taxes.

Time Involved

It used to take hours and hours to gather all the information, calculate the taxes and figure out what is owed. However, with online tax preparation services all it takes is a few minutes and putting in a few numbers and you can come up with how much you owe or the government owes you.

April 15 is no longer a day that many Americans dread. With the help of online tax preparation services they can quickly and effectively have their taxes turned in well before the deadline, and even help them save money by providing accurate tax returns to the IRS.

The shotgun has been a traditional tool of choice for hunting and personal defense. But only a few significant changes have been made to this weapon in over 100 years. We now live in the dawning of the 21st century, and it is only fitting that we see new developments in shotgun technology.

The American AA-12 automatic shotgun traces its beginning to the hands of Maxwell Atchisson in the second half of the last century. Since then through to 2005, the Atchisson Assault weapon got some serious modifications to make it the formidable front line combat machine that it is today. According to it’s current developer, Jerry Baber of Military Police Systems, the AA-12 is quite possibly the most powerful weapon in the world. That’s a tall claim in light of the innumerable nuclear warheads knocking about the planet, but he makes a point. Most battles are fought in close quarters and on the streets of populated urban hubs. An automatic 12-gauge shotgun capable of firing a reported 300 rounds per minute would seem almost certainly unstoppable.

THE UPPER HAND

There are a few clever ways to employ the AA-12. As might be expected, it can throw enough lead downrange in such a short time that it virtually writes off any assailant on foot. Stainless steel and titanium alloy shot can be fired into a moving automobile, destroying all occupants. Frag-12 shells can deliver grenade-like bursts which can be considered a force-multiplier in any defensive or offensive campaign. Although designed for military and police use, certain states in the U.S.A. will issue civilian licenses for the AA-12 and similar automatic weapons, after an applicant satisfies that jurisdiction’s requirements.

If you’ve been paying any attention to the news lately you’ll have heard reports of smart phones giving away what you thought was private information. Early 2011 reports of camera phones geotagging images of school children, pictures which were then posted to web-based galleries, caused quite a stir among parents and privacy groups. There was also the early 2010 report of the Houston Police Department secretly testing an unmanned drone aircraft over a small section of Texas. This drone, very much like Insitu’s Scan Eagle for the U.S. military, was reportedly equipped with high-power cameras capable of viewing people clearly from long distances, and in their homes. What possible scenarios might domestic law enforcement departments consider using unmanned surveillance aircraft? According to HPD’s Martha Montalvo, public safety, compliance with Homeland Security and tactical operations were all potentially legitimate uses.

WHO’S WATCHING AND WHY

The world’s fighting forces have been using unmanned vehicles for years already. But what are the implications of such drones being used inside the homeland? The consensus among technorati and conspiracy theorists alike is that, at the very least, our private lives are no longer private. The average citizen is vulnerable to scrutiny more like a corporation, less like men and women with personal rights. Technology is merely the tool though, it is the motive behind its use which may or may not be sinister. For every potential psychotic hacker who wastes his days stalking children via geotagged image galleries, there are hundreds of families whose pictures may never be viewed by anyone other than the invitees. Privacy advocates should consult their smart phone’s manual for steps to disable geotagging. As for your government spying on you, this is nothing new.

Have you always wanted to start your own online casino? The industry is certainly enjoying a lot of interest currently and is well-supported by its games and other elements, such as sports betting. The following steps and ideas can get you started if this is something that you would like to do.

If you are dreaming of having a site like BetUS Online Casino, you can bet that a lot of time will be needed to be placed into this project. Starting an online casino begins with the formalities and business aspects of the site. Spend some time looking at the laws surrounding online gambling, which will be related to your location. You will also need a license to run a casino of any kind.

Be aware of your budget for the online casino. Unless you possess a heavy arsenal of marketing, design, and programming skills, you will likely need some help setting up the website, system, and technical features. It is important to be realistic when it comes to finances in order to adequately plan and ensure that you will have enough for all aspects (marketing, legal, etc. also apply).

Before you invest your time and money into the project, you will need to look at whether this is a good option. The time and finances that are needed are quite sizable; do your best to gain perspective in regards to your situation. If you aren’t able to go through with your idea, you can still enjoy online casinos. Take your time to figure out what is best for your goals and resources.

How would you like to be watched, everywhere you go? How would you like to go to your local big-box super store, while under surveillance? If you live in America then you probably are already. ICx Technologies / FLIR Systems has already been supplying law enforcement departments with a mobile unit they call SkyWatch. Billed as a Manned Mobile Surveillance System, SkyWatch is essentially a guard booth on a hydraulic lift. These portable towers are being acquired by police departments in the U.S.A., turning up in public byways and, yes, even retail outlet parking lots. The booths can house radar and imaging systems, long-distance body heat sensors, and all the basic mod-cons for the officer(s) inside. The stated reasons for deploying these towers range anywhere from crowd control to counter-terrorism.

HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE

According to the ICx Technologies literature, vantage point counts when policing human behavior. An officer some 15 feet above us in the safety of a bullet-proof cabin may alleviate some anxieties in an otherwise high-risk environment. No one wants to see a crime committed where it could have been prevented and, if crime is what these guard towers are hoisted up to deter, then we should be satisfied our tax dollars are as well spent. Search through the world wide web, though, and a different concern is aired. Are citizens being intentionally desensitized to police-state maneuvers by the gradual rollout of units like the SkyWatch? There is speculation that these towers are nothing more than a link in the chain around Liberty’s neck, another example of technology put to ill use. “May you live in interesting times”, goes the old blessing. Let us hope it was not meant as a curse.

Sometimes people think that networking is impossible with online degrees. This is not true. Using the Internet, you can build your brand with the right people. Participate in class online discussions and share your knowledge and expertise. By doing so, other students will become aware of you. You will build relationships with classmates as you work on projects together and socialize.

You can network online by joining social networks, forums, and online groups. As you get to understand how the group works, participate in the discussions. A wise strategy would be to select only two or three networks to join and spend your time and energy getting know people in those groups and developing relationships with those group members. It is better to have a strong relationship with 300 people than a shallow one with thousands of people.

In your email, create a signature that includes information about the degree you are working on. Also, include a link to your website if you have one. If you’re still looking for the right online program, earnmydegree.com offers a lot of information about various online programs from top colleges and universities.

Don’t promote yourself all of the time to the point that your classmates and those in the social networks get disgusted with you. Nobody likes someone who talks about himself or herself all the time. Be sure to promote other classmates or friends in your network. Talk them up.

History has taught us that man more or less goes through the same motions over the generations. We establish a community, make alliances, create weapons of mass destruction, conquer our weakest alliances and volley to be king of the hill. The bleak downside to this is the inevitable collateral damage, namely heaps of dead people. So we can all celebrate when someone uses technology to thwart rather than to maim and kill. The scuttling water cannons which sprayed protesters of the twentieth century may have all but dried up by now. Bring on sound cannons.

A sound cannon, like LRAD Corporation’s Long Range Accoustic Device, is typically used for much the same reasons its aquatic precursors were, primarily for crowd control and incident aversion. Rather than radiating sound waves from a central source, the sound cannon can focus a painful audio signal in effect the way a flashlight casts light, in a single direction. LRAD’s product information touts wildlife management, property / asset protection and behavior modifcation by clearly communicating orders as alternative uses to tactical. The company reportedly ranks in the top 10 for 2010 Defense Stocks, and continues to explore various new markets for this loud but not device.

BURN VICTIM

If sound isn’t your thing, how about a heat ray for non-lethal deployment? The American military have a weapon, the Active Denial System (ADS), which is capable of generating focused radio wave energy that causes human targets to feel as if they are experiencing severe burns. The U.S. Pentagon has envisioned deploying ADS to the Middle East. As of summer 2010, however, there are no reports of its active use.

Most soldiers, given the choice, would eschew getting turned into pink mist for some leave time with their families and friends. For all the glories of battle, one well-placed projectile can end a fighter’s career in an instant. Great minds have worked to this end, developing methods and mechanics to minimize loss of life on “our” side while delivering fatal blows to “theirs”. The new millennium is host to some of the most progressive concepts in remote controlled mechanics and robotic weapons. Each situation with which the soldier is presented comes with an inherent risk factor. Remote controlled vehicles and robots are designed to take the biggest risks and worst of the heat. A theater of war can develop in any environment. To gain the uppermost hand, a military unit must not be hampered by natural elements, visibility or obstacles.

GO GO ROBO

Can remote-operated machines and robots really take the place of humans on the battlefield? They can and, more and more, they do. Autonomous robotic vehicles have been designed to carry supplies and provisions for troops on the move, to deploy airborne drones for reconnaissance, and to be the first to engage an enemy on the deadly front lines. A robot like the Unmanned Ground Vehicle developed at Carnegie Mellon University, named Crusher, is so sophisticated that it can map and navigate complex terrain without real-time human control. Unmanned remote-controlled aircraft, can be used not just for surveillance, but also for tactical strikes when mounted with automatic weaponry. The American Air Force’s Predator and Reaper drones were created to do exactly that. Small underwater robots can sweep shipping lanes for mines and other hazards, or they can deliver a deadly strike, all the while keeping the attacker well away from the point of impact.

One of the first aspects of the Federal Bureau of Investigation that often comes to mind — other than sneaky men and women in suits with serious expressions — is the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The legend goes that the list originated over a card game in 1949. This game of hearts, played by then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and the editor in chief of the International News Service, William Kinsey Hutchinson, resulted in an article and then an official list.

The Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list seems commonplace today. It’s posted in government buildings and other public locations, and there’s even a television program called “America’s Most Wanted” that often features the major players on file. Those on the list can be taken off if the charges against them are dropped, they die, or they are taken into custody. If valuable information about a member is tipped and the fugitive is subsequently arrested, there is a reward of $100,000 to the information giver.

The list as of 2011 had members on it dating back to 1984. Most, however, have been placed on the list within the past decade. The list of current fugitives includes the following five individuals:

Victor Manuel Gerena: Added in 1984, Gerena has been on the list the longest by far. He is wanted for allegedly robbing $7 million from a company in Connecticut as well as taking employees hostage and administering substances to them.

Glen Stewart Godwin: While serving a murder sentence, Godwin escaped from a prison in California. He has also been involved in drug trafficking in Mexico.

Osama bin Laden: Easily the most known on the list, bin Laden is wanted for his connection to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, among other things.

James J. Bulger: He is wanted for 19 murders in Boston. He was the leader of a Boston crime group involved in numerous wrongdoings in the 1970s and 1980s, the time frame of the murders.

Robert William Fisher: In 2001, Fisher allegedly murdered his wife and two children then created an explosion that destroyed the house.

Getting into the high security areas of many government agencies once only took the right form of identification and possibly a brief pat down. Technology then made it possible for building security to check people without having to get up in the form of metal detectors and x-ray scanners.

In the later 20th and early 21st centuries, government agents have employed newer technological methods for security clearance. In fact, with these advanced procedures it’s nearly impossible for someone who isn’t who they say they are to reach the most sensitive area much less even get to the elevator.

Databases

Security personnel at government agencies now have the luxury of conducting swift background checks within voluminous databases that are networked across all law enforcement from the police to the CIA to the FBI. Within seconds a name can be run through a database of wanted individuals from across the globe.

But names aren’t the only thing that can be checked. Government agencies are now collecting DNA databases to search individuals of past crimes they may have committed.

Scanning

What once was the fancy of blockbuster movies is now commonplace in most high-security government buildings: eye and fingerprint scanners. These laser scanners can read a person’s individually unique iris with detailed precision. And instead of forgetting one’s clearance card, agents have the ability of to just place their hands on a sensor that will read their fingerprints.

But why stop at just two parts of the body? The government has added to simple metal detectors entire body scanners that can effectively see underneath clothing. Hiding a weapon within clothing is no longer a reality.

Imaging

People disappear and people age, especially people that are trying to run from something. To keep government workers safe from potential threats, agencies have employed imaging technology that can successfully mimic the aging process of individuals in case they lie and wait for a chance to strike. Images are then distributed to all.

Security is a primary concern of any government agency or building, and maintaining it begins with the best technology.

Its been well-established by now that the U.S. is not ranking very well in our educational system compared to other countries. Our numbers are shockingly low, which leads us to question where we’re going wrong.

The government is the largest regulator of our educational system. They create the policies and programs that are then interpreted by state governments and individual school districts. Many state governments have gotten rid of valuable programs including physical education, music and art departments, and foreign language. Our children’s intelligence is measured in their abilities in math, science, reading, and writing, instead of taking into account that their success in these subjects is often affected by their involvement (or lack thereof) in the aforementioned removed programs.

Studies have shown that students who study music are better equipped for math classes. Studying art and languages help develop creativity and critical thinking. Physical education encourages healthy living and relieves stress through physical activity. When a child loses out on these programs, it is potentially detrimental to the education that they are forever judged by.

Another tragedy is that many of these programs are not available at the elementary age. While a district may have music or language at the high school level, it is often times too late for them to effectively learn them. It is common knowledge that children are like sponges; they have an amazing capability to learn and retain information. When these programs are delayed until high school, they lose the opportunity to become proficient in any of them.

The moral of the story is: Fight for your kids education. Write to your state’s representative to affect change in our educational system. We need to prepare our children for the future.

People used to fear trying to interact with the government, be it for a parking space or clearing up tax discrepancies. The fear wasn’t from being scared but out the daunting task of navigating through a seemingly endless bureaucracy. Doing so would eat at someone’s time and money.

Following the lead of many corporations, the goverment has since strived for a better way. The answer has come in the form of an online operation now known as e-government. By reaching out to the government over the Internet, citizens can better search for what they’re looking for or find out who they need to speak to. E-government has made government more efficient in a variety of ways.

Online Records

Instead of actually having to travel to a hall of records, people can access records electronically. They find a diverse set of information from government zoning plans to a personal record of speeding tickets paid.

Electronic access to government records has also helped numerous people win court cases or find incidents of corruption from elected officials.

Online Payment

The fees of missing a payment or paying late on a balance with the government can be steep. Instead of relying on mail service, any payments can be submitted electronically with no hassle.

Online Filing

Countless people wait till the last minute to fill out their tax forms and send them in. With easy online tax filing procrastinating isn’t such a big deal, and they even get delivered to the IRS much faster.

FAQs

Most people reach out to the government to gather much needed, yet mundane, information. Everything from restrictions on liquor sales to laws against chicken coops. Instead of tying someone down responding to such inquiries, people can browse the FAQs of any government body.

Working with a government body can be painful, but working with an e-government can be rather painless.

The Internal Revenue Service is having an unconventional year when it comes to tax filings in 2011. Because the IRS’s main job is to collect taxes every year, it usually can perform the job smoothly and efficiently. This year, however, there are two factors complicating the annual process. The first involves the United States Congress; the second involves an unfamiliar holiday called Emancipation Day. Both elements of this tax issue are explained in the paragraphs that follow.

Those who believe Congress messes everything up have more proof this year. At the end of 2010, Congress added provisions to the tax cuts performed under the George W. Bush administration. These tax cut changes have created bumps in the IRS’s process of tax filing. There are a number of provisions the IRS must attach to its current system in order for citizens to receive their proper returns. With that being said, there were only three changes made in the tax bill, meaning it will affect very few people. Those who are affected will have to wait until the second half of February to file their taxes.

The second hiccup is Emancipation Day. This holiday, typically celebrated on April 16 in Washington, D.C., happens to fall on a Saturday in 2011. For this reason, it is being pushed to Friday, which positions it on the infamous Tax Day, April 15. Oddly enough, Emancipation Day takes precedence over Tax Day in the hierarchy of federal holidays. Therefore, Tax Day is being nudged into the next week, April 18. Procrastinators may rejoice in knowing they have three extra days to file their taxes. The change is minor, however. The IRS always accepts tax extensions for those who cannot make the deadline.

All in all, tax filing should run as smoothly as any other year. The IRS has been doing its duty since the Civil War.

Behind nearly every technological advancement and convenience of today sits the United States military. Where would you be without your GPS? Where would you be without the Internet? Military engineers originally designed both of these inventions for military purposes, only later to be opened up on the consumer market. It’s logical to assume, then, that devices the military is producing and using currently could some day become devices Americans use in their everyday lives. The following list gives a rundown of several new — and in some cases mind-blowing — creations by the U.S. military.

NEXI: NEXI the robot, currently called Octavia, is one of the newest members of the Navy. While she isn’t in use quite yet, NEXI is designed to remove military troops out of life-threatening situations. In those situations, NEXI can interact with humans using speech, touch, and hand gestures to rescue troops during a disaster in order to save lives.

The UAV: The UAV, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, is a new military technology that does just what the name suggests. The UAV is able to fly without the control of a solider. The main advantage of the UAV is the possibility of saving lives that would otherwise be lost when flying into dangerous territory. The UAV can take more risks and reach higher speeds because there are no lives on board to be put in jeopardy.

The JLTV: The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle is a quick, sturdy, and yet lightweight, take on the military Humvee. This vehicle can reach speeds of 102 miles per hour while being attacked on all sides. The JLTV can be both a transport vehicle for cargo as well as an ambulance for retrieving troops in dangerous surroundings.

None of these inventions are particularly suited to become attractive to consumers, but no one thought the Internet would catch on, either. It’s possible the technology being created by the military can be utilized for other devices in the future. For example, the technology in NEXI could be employed in machines for housework, which would make the world of the Jetsons seem realistic.

Being an enormous entity, the government can at times movevery laboriously, necessitating a demand for new ways to efficiently conduct various operations. Since the late 20th century and into the 21st, the government has employed the most modern technology, and even led to the development of some to meet its needs.

One of the fastest growing technologiesused by government is biometrics. In a nutshell, biometrics is the identity recognition of an individual based on biological traits. The usefulness of biometrics in government can be found in many sectors.

Tracking

The allocation of government funds is typically based on head counts. Because of the potential size of the funds, and risk of wasteful spending, it’s important to have accurate numbers. On a federal level, the 10-year census is a prime example. Many people neglect to return their forms for reasons as trivial as inconvenience. With biometrics, citizens could just swipe their hand or finger on a scanner and be counted.

On a local level, social services could really benefit from biometrics. For example, keeping track of the number of homeless people in the area.

The government could also track its own employees to generate ideas for better efficiency and making cuts where possible.

Security

The initial advent of biometrics was for security purposes, and nothing is more concerned about security than government. For most government agencies biometric systems are already in place. From court houses to city halls, biometrics can help identify visitors quickly and help keep each building safe.

Voting

People might also find the luxury of the convenience of biometrics in the voting booth. Instead of getting a registration card, and showing ID, voters could just literally show up and vote.

For conspiracy theorists biometrics presents a scary reality, but for pragmatists they are ideal in making government more efficient and faster.

After the attacks of September, 11, 2001 revealed a major breakdown in the communications and exchange of information between intelligence agencies, the U.S. Government decided to heavily invest in technology that would help provide greater access to valuable information. One such project was the expansion of the Combined DNA Index System, a database containing the genetic information of criminals submitted from federal, state and local law enforcement.

The purpose is to have more irrefutable evidence of who committed a crime, as well as help solve them. However, even though similar systems have existed in Europe since the 1990s, the idea of a database holding such personal information have left a lot people uneasy. Its purpose is understandable, and its effectiveness has been proven, but it is crossing the line into uncharted territory.

Pros

-Much like running finger prints, or flipping through mugs shots, a record of DNA from convicted offenders can help solve many cases, as many offenders tend to commit further crimes.

-The DNA database can play a pivtol role in court cases, either helping to put the right man behind bars or freeing someone wrongly convicted.

-It provides one more tool for law enforcement to get the upper hand, making it harder for criminals to get away with their deeds.

-Knowing that their genetic information will be archived forever just may help prevent some people from committing a crime in the first place.

Cons

-Major privacy concerns as innocent people, or very low-level offenders, could have their DNA taken from them and stored by the government.

-The database could potentially be accessed by someone with bad intentions with intent to use a person’s DNA for ill purposes.

-Sets a precedent for the government to gather more and more information about its citizens under the guise of safety.

The pros and cons of a DNA database by intelligence agencies and law enforcement are very debatable, and will be for years to come. From such a debate, hopefully a balance between effective capture and prosecution and privacy will be reached.

The military can always use a few brave, strong men that are willing to risk it all on the battlefield. But they can also use a few nerds that can develop and operate advanced equipment to overtake a hostile enemy. Such is the case with the 21st century military and the deployment of new technology like pilot-less drones and computer coded missiles.

The days of teaching the latest fighting techniques have given way to days of teaching the latest programming techniques, with good reason. By relying on technology, the military can save lives and cause more harm to adversaries, which is why they’ve incorporated it in major areas.

Surveillance

The military had to once launch risky missions to garner useful information such as sending soldiers across enemy lines to flying spy planes over hostile territory. Instead of using these dangerous procedures and risking casualties, the military can check on the enemy from afar with satellite and drone technology. Drones and satellites have the capability of recording movement in real time, and can be done by soldiers safely sitting at computer out of harm’s way.

Fighting

While some of those pilot-less drones are filming, others are cruising around ready to engage the enemy. Sitting at the controls at a base in Nevada, drone pilots can fight the enemy in far off places like Afghanistan and Iraq. Their increased use in both wars is a testimony to their effectiveness.

In other military craft, from tanks to submarines, weapon deployment also goes beyond pushing a button or two using computers that can register coordinates with extreme precision.

Communication

For troops to fight a successful battle they need to communicate as much as possible. Using things like GPS technology allows soldiers to see the positions of their comrades at all times to help coordinate attacks, as well as avoid friendly fire. Additionally, computer technology allows the transfer of classified documents in a quick and secure manner.

The battlefield will always be the arena for the bravest, but it is also becoming the arena for some of the smartest.

Laser weapons are a science fiction staple. Imagine “Star Wars” without the light saber. Imagine “Star Trek” without those beam guns. What if the U.S. military could operate laser weapons in some of the same ways as the science fiction stories? It turns out it’s a possibility the military has considered for years. In fact, the military currently employs the use of a weapon called the free electron laser. While the free electron laser certainly isn’t used in day-to-day combat, it has been heavily researched since the 1970s and has undergone further developments since.

The free electron laser is used today in military research. But how do lasers even work? The free electron laser basically creates infrared light strong enough to pierce through objects. It does so through a complicated process explained below.

Electrons are pushed into a particle accelerator, which speeds the electrons up.

Once sped up, those electrons go through a series of magnets that move the electrons back and forth.

The back-and-forth motion creates light at different wavelengths.

In addition to the free electron laser, the Air Force’s Airborne Laser is being developed to sense and track enemy missiles before they have been deployed. The Airborne Laser is actually a combination of four lasers that are attached to a 747 jet. The four lasers include the following types:

The Active Tracking Laser

The Tracker Illuminator Laser

The Beacon Illuminator Laser

The COIL laser

These two lasers are not exactly the hand-to-hand combat lasers familiar to viewers of science fiction movies, but they possess many of the same ideas of those popular weapons. The laser weapons of today are focused, intelligent, and constantly progressing.

Technology is growing very rapidly as with increase in technological gadgets and other things, needs and wants of human is also rising. Everyone expect more and more day by day.

Technology aspects are different in different stages of life like a student would like to have better cell phones which have everything integrated into them, but an old person might look for the gadget which can help them medically as well as physically.

Developers and Scientists are working all hours and giving up there everything to create technology for the future. Yet we do not know how the future technology looks like but as we can see changed from past to today everything is so innovative like today we have cell phones and future tablets are just launched which will change this market.

Earlier we use to travel by bull carts but now we have luxury cars, earlier we used to have normal planes but now we have hi tech planes. Everything is changing towards betterment to satisfy the different and increasing needs of everyone.

We have so much in today’s world which make us really excited to think about future, and everyone have a big question that what is our future and how it will look like. There is an ongoing process to innovate our cell phones, cars, planes, weapons, style of talking, and style of living.

Everyone is demanding and expect many things from future technology. Now days, technology touched and boomed each and every sector which you can possibly think of. There is a huge change in Industries, in way of teaching, in way sparring and last but not the least our living.

We are just expecting that our future technology should satisfy our present and maybe coming needs as well but we also have to make sure that increasing and advancements should not destroy our environment.

Now days, everyone is slave to technology and addicted to gadgets. Now no one can even imagine the world without technological gadgets. All of us are so much addicted to televisions, computers, and especially cell phones.

Technology is one of the major reason of shutting down of some companies as the work done by those companies are now not needed as machines can do that work in more fast and better way.

Students are distracted by video games, cell phones, play stations etc. and are not able to concentrate on their studies more which are making future of those children in danger. When they realize the mistake it is very late to recover which in return effect the growth of a country.

Technology also effecting sales of newspapers, as now news are widely available on internet and any one can get access to it by few clicks for free. It also effected postal departments of countries as well because people now like to e-mail more than sending physical mails to their beloved ones or for office use.

Due to these technological gadgets unemployment is also increasing as in earlier days people use to do everything by hand which means more manpower was needed to perform a task or for manufacturing things. But now days, work of 100 people can be done by only one machine which snatched the jobs of 100 people.

Technology is also affecting people’s health as now people do not want to go out to play. Now days, children like more to play on computer rather than going out which is affecting their health, and giving them obesity and less stamina.

Technology is also affecting relationship of human which was earlier called a social animal. Now days, people talk on phones and do not even care to go out and meet their relatives as they use to do in earlier days.

Content

Since its creation in 1908 as the Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has had a number of key goals. These goals have always stayed in the realm of national security against outside and inside intelligence threats, but the FBI also endeavors to uphold the laws of the country like any other sector of the Department of Justice. The FBI is unique in that it is a federal form of justice rather than a state or local force. This allows the department to pick and choose its battles, so to speak, and focus on what it sees as the most important missions of the time.

As of today, the FBI’s priority list contains 10 types of investigations in order from most to least important.

Protection from terrorism

Protection from foreign intelligence issues such as spies

Protection from attacks to or from technology

Fight against corruption

Preserve civil rights of citizens

Fight against organized crime

Fight against high-status crime

Fight against crime extremely violent in nature

Keep in touch with and reinforce other municipalities of the department

Keep FBI technology top-notch and head of the criminals

Those 10 items may be the FBI’s most targeted types of crimes, but the crimes that people are being charged for following FBI investigations don’t exactly correlate with the previous 10. The top five in that second category are bank robberies, drugs, conspiracy, sexual exploitation, and mail fraud. While mail fraud doesn’t seem as monumental as protecting the country from terrorism, the amount of charges against these seemingly lesser crimes might actually be a sign the FBI is doing its job well.

The FBI isn’t a foolproof agency. It is, however, known and revered around the world as one of the toughest agencies of justice. The high standards of its goals shows how dedicated the FBI is to justice in America and worldwide.

The term technology does not have any specific definition as it refer to any creation, innovation or knowledge. It helps each and every person to do their work in most efficient way with ease.

Technology now changed and mingled in day to day life of every person. From the time he wake up till the time he go back to sleep he use equipment’s to do his work like for calling everyone have mobile phones, for entertainment we have music systems, now people work on computers.

From Medical field to Rescue field, from big industries to small household, technology is used everywhere. In medical field, technology refer to all advancement such like new and hi-tech operation theatres, latest gadgets, MRI, X-ray scans. All of these help doctors to identify the problem of patients to cure them.

For Army, Navy and Air force, technology refers to all latest gadgets, planes, helicopters, ships, weapons and submarines. These all equipment’s helped our Air force, Army, and Navy in rescue missions and also to safe guards our nation from threats like terrorism, wars and more.

For Industries, technology refer to big machines which are now used now days in the production, marketing, procurement, delivery and every department in an industry or modern offices. These all machines make work fast with best quality as a result more production in less time.

For household, technology refers to gadgets like television, phones, computers, air conditioners, cars and many more things make life very simple of mankind. From a school going student to a housewife, from a college teen to office going guy, this technology help everyone to meet their daily requirements and work.

Now without this technology and things no one can even think to survive. We are now totally depended on these technologies.

If you are looking for a computer tracking program, the following three may suit your needs. There are numerous types of computer tracking programs out there, each with different features and characteristics depending on what exactly you seek to track.

Web Watcher: This is a web-based Internet and computer activity monitor that is in a league all of its own. It offers a complete suite of truly powerful features that are effective at monitoring and blocking for parental control and similar purposes. The software is easily installed and then has an easy, user-friendly interface. It puts a lot of computer and web monitoring power in your hands with an out of the box solution that does not require configuration. You can manage absolutely everything simply from your web browser.

eBlaster: This software monitors a computer, then emails the recorded data to the user of the software in plain text. This is a risky proposition, however, because it is easy for someone else to read the emails since they are going back and forth on your computer. You are going to want to consider this when you weigh whether or not to use this specific computer tracking program. If you are monitoring private information such as usernames and passwords, then you may not want that information sent via email message.

Spector Pro: This is one of the more expensive software options to choose, but it is well worth the investment when you consider how well-designed and intuitive it is. It lacks blocking capabilities, but it is easy to use and the monitoring features that it offers make it well worthwhile. It is a feature rich software solution that allows you to view whatever data has been monitored, but unfortunately you can only view it on the actual computer that you are monitoring.

There are a lot of opportunities for people to keep their internet activities private. All it takes is a simple click of the mouse and all internet history can be wiped clean. This is a concern for a lot of parents as it requires a high level of technical ability to be able to go into a computer’s hard drive after the internet history has been erased and figure out what website and computer activities your child engaged in. This concern for internet safety and monitoring what children are doing on the Internet is why many parents are now turning to the use of software programs produced by SpectorSoft to monitor what their children are doing online.

SpectorSoft is a private manufacturer that creates stealth computer programs that monitor and record internet and computer activities. With a simple download, parents are able to bring up a detailed list of the activities that their child engaged in while online. These activities can range from websites that were visited, length of time on these websites and even detailed chat logs for private instant messaging systems. This computer program makes it ideal for parents who have a concern over their child’s internet activities or fear that their child may be contacted by sexual predators while online.

One of the benefits of using SpectorSoft is that is completely undetectable on the computer. The software works by using rootkits which make it undetectable to anyone that looks at the programs that are running on the computer. This undetectability factor allows parents to monitor their child’s internet activities without their child even knowing that it is happening.

Concerns over the legality of SpectorSoft have been brought to light. However, when SpectorSoft is used for parents to monitor their children it does not violate any laws as children have no privacy rights under their parents. It is when SpectorSoft is used to monitor other adults that it crosses the legal line.

Terrorism by far is one of the most destructing and take back conditions of the Economy of a country. It not only destroys the Economic growth of the country but also corrupts the citizens and the younger generation and takes them towards carrier and moral destruction which can destroy the country’s future. The super power of the world The US was also not left behind.

If we go by the records put up by FBI there were 250 attacks in United States out of 335 confirmed incidents which were suspected to be terrorist attacks and were committed by US citizens.

Some of the major US Terrorist Organizations were named as Army of God. This organization was held responsible for destruction of an abortion clinic, a lesbian club and a gay club in mid-90’s by a series of bombings. The group was a loose network of individuals connected ideologically of ending Abortion in United States.

Another group known as Alpha 66 and Omega 7 were 2 Cuban groups in which Alpha 66 is still existent but Omega 7 is now dysfunctional. It was responsible in many of the bombing in the United States. Manly related to the Cuban exile violence the acts of these groups have been extensively documented by Joan Didion in his book MIAMI.

Black liberation army was another organization which was distinguished as a destructive group in US between 70’s and 80’s. They idealized that had they should over through the US Government because of racial discrimination and worked with Marxist ideology. They were mainly involved in killing of police officials.

The Order also known as Silent Brotherhood, the most talked about act of this group was the brutal murder of the talk show host aired on radio Alan Berg in 1984. This is how terrorism within United States is prevalent.

Today US Intelligence Agency like FBI is using high tech surveillance equipment that is used to track every place either by CCTVs or by satellites or many other forms of latest gadgets they are in process of inventing which can be helpful in getting many criminals in into pursuance.

FBI is very vastly building up various tools, knowledge on the tools and the expertise on them to fulfill their target requirements, as they are a member of the Very vast Intelligence Community. New software named iDX3 has been included in FBI’s arsenal, which has been developed by National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

It is now being used by Information and Technology branch of FBI. FBI’s associated datasheets, maps 3d and 2d views of cities, charts, maps and diagrams are analyzed with the help of iDX3’s enterprise wide technology.

Directorate of intelligence Division of FBI ensured that all of their personals should be capable of geospatial analyses with the help of iDX3. Real time tracking support of operational units was by FBI with the help of iDX3 to manage security at the time of Nuclear Summit which was held in Washington, D.C. in April 2010.

To monitor the event for situational awareness FBI used a Centralized Control Center which used the imaginary views as well as street maps to gather information. United Nations founding conference in 1945 was the only event with as much gathering of world leaders as in this nuclear Summit.

This tool can be seen as an important weapon in the hands of FBI which can be used at the time of important events in which it has to take the help of National Geospatial Intelligence Agency to support with expertise and operational geospatial support.

Now with the help of iDX3 FBI can itself manage other complimentary applications within its own jurisdiction in operational geospatially.

If 2010 was the year of the tablet (think iPad) then 2011 is the year of the Internet—Internet TV that is. At CES 2011, Internet TVs were on display everywhere. The TVs are bigger, sleeker, more sophisticated and more connected than ever before. Let’s take a look at what you can expect if you buy an Internet TV.

Connect to the Internet

It seems obvious, but when you buy an Internet TV you have the capability of connecting to the Internet. These types of TVs have been available for a few years, but more than 50% of the TVs currently in homes that are Internet based don’t use this feature. In 2011, it seems more people will be using their TVs as their Internet source, as well as their source for entertainment.

Easily Share Content

Internet TVs in the future will make it easier to share content using ares p2p and the popular aresgalaxy software from PCs and other electronic devices. In fact, at CES 2011, LG Electronics introduced a TV that will do just that. Plus, this Smart TV will include Netflix, YouTube, CinemaNow, Hulu, and even Amazon Video on Demand.

Storage

Internet TVs offer another advantage that many may not think of, and that is storage. You know it’s a good idea to back up your files and now you can do that with your TV. Boxee, an Internet TV company, has partnered with Iomega to provide network-attached storage. This will allow users to take their media files currently stored on their hard drives or FileZilla server and send them to their TVs.

It’s an exciting year for electronics and TV is certainly taking its place in the new developments. Keep an eye out for more exciting announcements about Internet TVs. It’s obvious that advances in technology like these here are not going away anytime soon. The way we watch TV is about to change.

In order to make money on the Internet, you first need to have a website that sets you apart from your competition. This means it needs to look professional, have well-written content, and be easy to navigate. This is important so that customers do not worry about their security while using your site. Most small internet businesses don’t even stand a chance against larger internet companies, simply because they don’t take the time to make their websites look good.

There are lots of resources you can use to create your website. If you don’t have the funds to pay a web designer, you can do it yourself through the help of Joomla, WordPress, or many of the other free tools for creating websites. Anyone can create a website, even if they do not have previous HTML or web programming language experience. You can also use open source free software like File Zilla to transfer your files to your server and save money. The problem really comes in making the finishing changes to help you be unique. The best bit of advice is to do everything you can on your own and then call in the professional when you hit a road block and need some assistance. Make sure to include everything you need in your business so that you don’t end up redoing everything when something goes wrong.

You also want to make sure you have all the necessary parts of a website to make your site successful. Include a blog, forum, chat feature, xvid video and anything else you think will keep people coming back for more. The more content you have, the more likely people will find you in the search engines, so continue to add something new every day.

Once your website is up and running, you are going to want to implement tracking software so that you can keep tabs on how well your business is doing. Google Analytics is a free tool you can use, but there are plenty of other options, too. Start creating your website today.

Technology reduces the manual work and increases the efficiency with speed3G stands for third generation technology. This technology is mainly used to put to arrange video call and high speed internet with unimaginable speed. This one can be used in many government campaigns and also some other private industries.

Government uses this technology mainly for teleconferencing i.e., to have video conference with any foreign delegates. This makes the country to go with more advanced process. Some of the important areas where this technology can be used are chatting through online, security system. Now let us see the detailed version of this technology in security system.

3G technology can be used as an evidence purpose in security system. Now we are using technology in banking system to store the user details. In a bank daily 100 new user accounts is created, it cannot be maintained manually so computer technology is used to store all their personal details like address, name, age, sex, marital status etc.

This technology mainly used to store the data and retrieve it at time in need. The database is mainly used to retrieve data in a speedy manner with minimum search. The data is stored in the hard disk. Then it is retrieved in time when required. The hard disk is a microprocessor used to store the data in a structured format.

The data are structured in a format so that it can be searched easily and retrieved. The process of arranging the data in a structured manner is said to be data structure. If our data structure algorithm is good then we can arrange more data with less space. So it is always important to choose the best data structure and to improve the speed if less memory is used it leads to the fast retrieval of data.

Some people are paranoid about the government tracking their online activity, remembering the events that took place in Goldstein’s Big Brother. Is it bad for the government to have too much control? Where do you draw the line when it comes to your privacy? These are both questions many people have when thinking about online privacy and the ability of the government to track activity.

In general, the government does not track your online activity. If there is a reason to question the integrity of your online behavior, measures can be put in place to track what you are doing, but this is only done in very rare cases, such as for terrorism and child pornography. The tracking is done to ensure you are not infringing on the rights of other people or performing illegal activity. If the government suspects you have been participating in some form of illegal activity, they can request that your browsing history be brought forth as well as all of your social networking activity online. This rarely happens, though, and is only done when someone does not cooperate or is unreachable.

The government does have quite a few limitations, however. Nobody can enter your home and go through your computer files and internet browsing history without first presenting you with a warrant. It is not easy to obtain a warrant, so don’t assume the authorities have one if they do not show it to you. Secondly, it is not common to be faced with entrapment.

You don’t have to worry too much about the government tracking your online activity unless you are doing something illegal and it has been brought to their attention in some manner. This means you should be careful about what you do online, but not out of fear that the government is tracking your activity.

It appears as if every other week there is another story about a child being contacted online by a known sexual predator and being kidnapped or killed. This can make allowing your child to go online be a scary experience for parents. Luckily, there are added precautions that parents can do to make sure that their kids are safe online.

Many parents are starting to download and use monitoring software that will alert them of what their children are doing online. Monitoring children’s activities online is completely legal as children do not have legal rights against privacy from their parents.

If you are a parent that is looking into which monitoring software is the best, here is a look at some of the software on the market today.

Remote Keylogger. Remote Keylogger is a small program that runs in the background of the computer. It is undetectable so children will not know you are monitoring them. Remote Keylogger will give you information on what is being typed, what sites are visited and who is being talked to. Logs can be downloaded from any computer that has internet access.

IamBigBrother. IamBigBrother is another background program that will track what your children are doing online. The unique feature of this program is that it allows parents to see a live screen shot of what their children are doing online. This program also offers keystroke logs and IP addresses of who your children are talking to.

SniperSpy. SniperSpy is a rather large software program, but it does everything imaginable. It tracks IP address, recently used programs, keeps videos of what your children do online and even tracks what has been typed. This is all uploaded to a private account that parents can access anywhere to get the results. SniperSpy also offers live screen viewers that allow you to see in real time what your children are doing on their computer.

Every government spy movie or TV show usually has a person sneak into a government office, put in a portal USB drive and download all the government’s secret information. While this type of situation makes for a great Hollywood movie, the chances of it happening in a real life government situation are very slim. That is because the United States government employees use a special type of software known as the Sanctuary Software to ensure that this exact situation does not happen to any information in the real world.

The Sanctuary Software program provides a level of protection for government computers. The way the program works is that it prevents any unauthorized USB drive or unauthorized connection to the network. The network that contains all the sensitive information is scrambled and disjointed so that only those who have been granted access to the system can view it and download it. Should an unauthorized user put in an unauthorized device, the system would automatically shut down and not allow the download of the information.

In order for people to gain access to the encrypted information, a system administrator would have to put the user’s information and USB port into a list of authorized users. If that person is not put on the list, the system will see them as an unauthorized user and prevent any of the information from being downloaded or accessed. System administrators can also control how long a person is able to view the encrypted information for.

The Sanctuary Software also works as an anti-virus and anti-spyware program. It prevents any of the known malicious software programs from getting onto government computers and providing unauthorized users with access to private information. With millions of United States citizens’ information on the line, the government cannot afford to have identity thieves gaining access to this type of information. That is why the Sanctuary Software program prevents any of that from happening.

Most everything can be found online nowdays. It’s easy to find telephone numbers, addresses, old friends and photos of just about anything. With the quick ability to find anything online, it’s important for parents to know what can be tracked online and how. This is especially important if you have young children using the Internet.

First of all, you need to know what kind of information children are posting. Kids will post:

First and last name

Where they live

Photos

Their friends’ names

Personal interests

While most of the time this information is completely innocent and only seen among friends, there are Internet predators that can track this kind of information. It’s important to educate children on the proper use of the Internet and how to stay safe.

Next, as a parent you’ll want to actually track the sites your child visits. There is software available that will allow you to track websites your children visit, see their chats and even see who they are friends with online. This is all important information you need to know in order to keep your child safe. Of course, the best option is to be with your child when he is using the Internet, but it’s just not possible to be with your child 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That’s why tracking software is so useful.

The Internet is a wonderful place. It’s a fun place for children to learn and to socialize. Unfortunately, it can also be a dangerous place for young children. Play it smart and safe by educating your children about the dangers found online and then installing some tracking software. Taking some time now to prepare for dangers will save you a lot of energy and heartbreak later on down the road.

Tracking is a technique in which the location of the object or person is known or in other words they a type of communication between two objects with the help of the signals with or without the knowledge of the object. Tracking is done using the transmitters which are placed in the object. The transmitter sends radio waves which are identified by the receiver.

The satellites are being used to get the radio signals from the transmitter and transfer the radio Waves to the receiver. Transmitters are of different kind each has its own way of transmitting the Radio waves; the better transmitter gives you the longer distance of transmission. Transmitter’s waves are almost so strong that it’ll even transmit when it’s inside human body.

Tracking in latest technology, which is used even by common people in the day today life is a challenge. The only Disadvantage of it is that the tracking device which is to be bought is of very much cost and poor People can’t afford to it.
The device is less cost when compared to the radio wave receiver. Tracking is also used in finding out Mobile phones by the signals transmitted by the Subscriber Index Module (SIM). The last transmitted signals are obtained from the Sims. Later they collect the information from which antenna the signals were forwarded and then the location of the mobile phone is got.

This technique is also done when the mobile phone is switched off. Mobile phone is easily tracked easily when they are switched on with the sim in it. They transmit some signals even if they are not making any communication. Tracking of the mobiles is then made easy, even some sites contain some the tracking facility of mobile phones. Tracking is the latest technique which everyone is aware off.

Tracking and spying on people has been a part of human nature for hundreds of years. However, the secrecy that the Internet has provided people causes many to worry about what others are doing online. These people will generally turn to the use of tracking and monitoring software to see exactly what their children, brothers or sisters, and significant others are doing on their computers. While the use of tracking software might be popular amongst many people, it is often times considered illegal. Here is a look at some of the questions that people ask regarding legal issues and tracking software.

Is Monitoring and Tracking Software Illegal?

Yes and no. It depends upon the type of tracking software that is being used, what you are monitoring and who you are monitoring. If you have a small tracking device on your website that will track number of visitors and where they are from, that is legal. However, if you place a piece of software on their computer and track their movements on the Internet, it is illegal. Illegal software is also one that is placed on a computer and will log any websites visited or keystrokes of the computer user. However, this type of computer software program can be used under special circumstances.

Who Can I Track Using Monitor and Tracking Software?

Monitor and tracking software are against the law because they violate people’s privacy. The use of monitoring and tracking software to monitor anyone over the age of 18, spouses or significant others, and other family members is illegal. However, if you are a parent or guardian and are monitoring a child’s movement online that is legal. Children do not have a right to privacy from their parents and therefore their computer activities can be tracked without an invasion of privacy issue coming up. Schools can also monitor student’s activities online as they have a legal right to protect their students.

Military is the most independent form of body in the government. They have a separate world for themselves so as their technologies. Each and every technique used in military operations is not known by anyone other than the authorized person. The prosperous latest technology which is used in military is artillery.

They use specialized guns and war techniques like Military robots, sensors and communications, military aviation, military vehicles and warships. Each and every thing has a separate department to study about and how to use the weapons and the things provided by them.

They protect the nations from the bad people so they are provided the best and with the latest technology. Only then they can be a step ahead of their enemies. The armor which is provided by the military is then bullet proof and they can withstand heat and cold for some degrees so than even during the extreme climatic change the solider can survive.

Now even in military trucks they are provided with a bullet proof glass and then they are provided with a transmitter so than they can monitor the movement of the vehicle that they going in the right direction or not. They also have radars to be known of the planes and missiles approaching to them. They even have the radar for the nuclear missile identification but they are not authorized to enclose the modern technologies which are being used by them so that they could be easily identified by their enemy and get weakened.

So the basic technologies which are being known are only used in the military operations. They have also have flights which could travel more than the speed sound they call it as stealth technology. They are almost invisible to radars. Day by day the technologies which are used in the technology are improving a lot.

The Internet is considered by many to be the best piece of technology on Earth. This is because of all the other technology that has been made possible because of it. You can watch tv and movies now while sitting in a park with software like the vlc player. And you can find any information you want with search engines. Another such technology that is changing the way we live and work is the widespread use of GPS.

GPS is an acronym for global positioning system, and it refers to any devise that can track the specific location of a person through a satellite. It is a common feature of smartphones, and many cars now come with GPS devices pre-installed.

The military has been using GPS for years, but now regular people have access to its capabilities. The most common use of GPS is looking up local businesses and restaurants, and then getting directions to them. GPS devices are also commonly used in trip planning. People never have to worry about following a map anymore because a GPS can recite directions and even reroute you if you make a wrong turn or miss a freeway exit.

Having GPS on your phone can also be a lifesaver. It is recommended that you bring a phone with you on hikes. If you get lost, you can use the GPS to find your way to safety or call for help if someone gets injured. You can then use the GPS to give directions to the safety crew.

Many businesses are now using GPS as a marketing strategy. You can “check-in” to a certain business when you are within GPS range and sometimes be offered discounts for using that feature. This is probably going to be used more widely in the future.

The next time you buy a smart phone, make sure it is GPS enabled so you can download GPS and locator apps. It will save you a lot of time when you are trying to find where to go. There is no doubt that GPS devices are going to become more popular in the future.

Global positioning systems (which are also shortened to being called GPS units) have come an awfully long way in a fairly short period of time. Not all that long ago, it cost a small fortune just to be able to identify your position to within a few hundred yards. Nowadays, for a few dollars you can pick up a smartphone application that will tell you to within a few feet where you are. The technology has not changed to any substantial extent, but the accessibility certainly has. The odd part is with all of this additional accessibility there is the increased potential for misuse by the types of people who might use anything for shady purposes. After all, the very same software that can tell you where you are may be just as useful to someone else who wants the same piece of information.

Granted, the notion that someone is going to launch a Jason Bourne style hunt for you is pretty slim. You are most likely not a secret agent, and most people who are wanted by the law do not search around online for information about how they may be tracked. Simply put, most criminals are too stupid to know what to do, and any actual spies out there are already well schooled in evading the easy capture of the authorities.

However, there is always the potential that you could end up being stalked by a clever “fan” who has the skills to track your GPS’s unique signal (how they communicate with the satellites) and find you through it. While this idea may sound like something straight out of a science fiction movie (which would probably go best on the Lifetime network), it is really only a matter of time before a news story breaks about a stalker who was able to track their prey’s movements everywhere, despite the quarry taking every conceivable precaution to escape. Except dropping their phone, that is.

Now all developed country at present are where formed only by the senior citizen worked as a when they are teen and younger citizen. The only growth and improvement at that stage was business knowledge only according to agricultural, that is something like import and export. Hence this type senior citizen is about 100 years later past.

In India the senior citizens who fought for the wealth of nation and also they won the freedom fight against the British people who ruled the Indian soil for nearly 200 years. Initially, the freedom fight was started with non-violence and after the later stage only it was many Indians i.e.at present senior citizen are all joined in National Army force started by Netaji.

So these senior citizens who are conquered not only in the business field but also participated in technical field such as Army force. That army force developed is now refined with advanced techniques of latest development and it was getting advanced very much day by day now they improved by testing nuclear bomb.

The army formed only by the senior citizens who are in the later part of 1940-1950 period of year people. Later after every ten years the citizens at that time very younger are most vastly developing the nation via communication networks etc. The senior citizens on their early part of teen are getting refined with advance technique and vast improvement every ten years.

Now, at present the senior citizen of future are getting vastly developing in the computer field. They started from computer network internet till they are getting improved by vast modification day by day in the sense of Information Technology Outsourcing Communication etc. So, it’s a best conclusion given here has to be every next 10 year countries wealth are badly depend on the at present citizens.

A few years ago, there were very few options available when it came to satellite navigation systems. They were only available built-in to high end vehicles, and your options otherwise were slim if there was anything available at all. Today there are a myriad of different portable GPS devices that are available. You can hook them up quickly and have them fully operational in a matter of minutes. These new devices are so cost effective that they are accessible for most drivers, not just the drivers that have throwaway cash to spare.

In choosing a portable GPS system, one of the first considerations that you will want to make is price. These navigation systems can vary greatly in price from $129 to $2000 or more depending on what you are looking for. You are going to want to set a budget to make sure that you stay within a specific price range when choosing your portable GPS. Fortunately for most people, there are many portable GPS devices that are less than just $500.

The next thing that you are going to want to consider is what you specifically want the portable GPS navigation system to do. If you are looking for bells and whistles, then you are going to end up paying more. Do you need turn by turn directions? Are you looking for live updates? Most of the budget-friendly models have smaller screens, and they require that you load your chosen maps manually. Higher priced models on the other hand typically have better graphics and bigger screens, and they do not require memory cards but have all of the right information stored on them already, or they can access it quickly via satellite.

Finding the right combination of features and price is the best way to ensure that you find the portable GPS navigation system that is going to meet your needs.

It seems nowadays that maps are pretty outdated. Instead of following an antiquated map on our travels, most people use a GPS. While GPS systems are great and can really help navigate through a new place, the technology isn’t perfect. Has the GPS ever told you to actually drive into a lake? Or make a turn that wasn’t there? While GPS technology may not always be perfect, it is improving every day.

Real-time updates is one of the biggest improvements to GPS tracking software. Users can get real-time, on-screen updates on their location. Plus, you can track things like packages and vehicles around the globe. This kind of advancement is great for industries, like aviation, shipping, and manufacturing. It’s also useful for the average consumer who may be trying to track a flight or see where a package is located.

Mapping has also become much more sophisticated on a GPS. Right from the GPS, the user can integrate with Google Earth or other types of detailed maps. You can get real photos of locations on the GPS as well. This is especially useful if you are wondering what the weather is like in the place where you are traveling.

Are you traveling in a group? Then simultaneous tracking could be just perfect. Use GPS tracking software and track more than one GPS at a time. Check out where your friends are on the route or use it to track multiple shipments.

GPS tracking software is becoming more and more sophisticated. This is great news for those who use a GPS on a daily basis for work or pleasure. Taking the guess work out of where to go or which route to take is a great help to those who are traveling. With technology getting better every day, GPS software is sure to improve as well.

Technology is mainly used to reduce the manual stress and to increase the efficiency. Since technology showed good progress several fields’ government also joined hands with it. So obviously to reduce the manual stress and work government started using the technology in many areas like RTO office for recognizing the signature digitally and in ATM for withdrawal purpose.

Now let’s see about digital signature recognizing technology. Here the device actually looks like a flat piece of metal, where its upper part is sensitive if we touch the upper part due to the digital sensing technology the impression is made and then it is converted into digital signals and then it is passed through data bus and leads to memory.

Once it reaches memory the digital signal is again converted into image so wherever the impression is made on the flat surface it is thus transferred to the main memory of the computer. When the signature is required through some software it is copied and pasted to the document in need. Now let’s see about how technology is implemented to the ATM (Automated teller machine).

An each person should have a magnetic card to get through the access of the ATM. When a magnetic card is inserted to the machine it first read the magnetic strip and then finds the appropriate user of that particular account and then it gets the account information about the total cash in it. Now the user interface side is fully designed by some object oriented programs.

The front end is visual basic which is used to display the options available for user and the backend is c++ or java. Complete software must have its front end and back end. The frontend will look after the user interfacing which displays the contents and back end will look after the functions that have to be carried away for any action.

The society is nothing but a group of people living together in a same geographical area. This term is tells us nothing but people close to them are relating them are nearly sharing their work load, character, love etc. The society is mainly formed to help each other’s needs. There will be many societies in a country but the society are mainly split among there geographical area.

There are many societies around the corner as I already mentioned. The societies are not only split based on the geographical area it’s also split mainly by their culture, religion, common favorites etc. The societies classified based on the culture or nothing but there spoken language or dressing living style there life goals like that it goes on.

There are another form people who are classified on the basis of the religion. The Christians will be in one society, then the Hindus will be in the other form society, then the Muslims will be on the other part. In India these three types of people religion societies are living in India. Mainly because of the religion split up people in India were not united. But, now people were refined in India they were slowly using out of religious society.

Other forms of the Society were regarding to their respective professions. Some people were main job was Fishing they all will be living so closely to sea which comes under some geographical area and the fisherman are all will be in the same religious society. So the main mode of the society is derived from their respective profession. Let us Consider If Some group of people were belong to same profession agriculture then all come to live near there farming lands so at last the main case of forming society is derived from geographical area.

Content

It can be pretty easy to get lost, especially when you are driving to a new area, exploring short cuts and so on. One of the best ways that you can prevent yourself from getting lost and can make it easier to get wherever you need to go is to have a portable GPS system in your car. The purpose of a portable GPS system in your vehicle is to provide you with a way to find locations, get directions and map your location so that you always know where you are.

While the original GPS concept involved built-in devices, there are now simple portable devices that operate based on battery, and that you can use in any vehicle no matter where you are. These are beneficial systems because they allow you to bring them wherever you go, and you are not forced to keep them in your vehicle all the time. Having a built in system means the system is exclusive only to the vehicle, but a portable GPS device is one that you can easily use in any car, on any trip, whether you are renting a vehicle or driving your own.

There are numerous benefits associated with owning a portable GPS device for your vehicle. If you are traveling at night and unsure of where you need to go, or if you have a destination in mind but all you have is the address without directions, you can plug some basic information into your GPS device and it will let you know where you are and where you need to go. Having this type of device is almost absolutely essential when you consider that it can prevent you from getting lost and can make sure that you get where you need to go on time without worrying about being late or getting lost in the process.

A countries wealth or improvement is fully depending upon the citizen. To become a citizen of a country, he/she should have taken birth on same country. After 18 years the child born on the country becomes teen and he/she has right to vote. In other cases, there are some dual citizenship policies in some countries.

Dual citizen are allowed to vote only they can’t nominate in any election as a president etc. This system is mainly followed by the country in USA. Every citizen is right to vote, it is a sin if they are fail to vote. The citizens are basically two types’ younger citizens and senior citizen. The Senior citizens are the people worked hard for the country’s wealth for the past 20 to 30 years.

Now the role of a younger citizen is to work for the country’s wealth for the future 20 to 30 years. There are some responsibilities such as inventing new technology, making the country very secured, improving the money value of the country. The improvement and degradation of the country is full and fully depend upon the countries type of government.

The citizens who really responsible for the government action because the citizens are mainly responsible the type of government they chose on the election. If they were under the king rule or some dictator government type then there country wealth will go to only the government alone. So no individual can come out of heavy wealth and he cannot do anything against the government.

Only in the democratic government the citizen have a big role to play by improving a nation .Since because he can do anything what he thinks he can also become a ruler if he is a very powerful and many people depend on him. He has to own a party to be a ruler.

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. GPS systems are becoming a standard all around us, especially in portable formats and in new vehicles. GPS systems can even be found in cellular phones, which are now largely capable of delivering the same mapping capabilities as a portable GPS device. If you are thinking about buying a portable GPS device or a phone with GPS capabilities, then consider the following benefits:

Where are you? A GPS device can help you to determine exactly where you’re at during any given time. Not only is a GPS going to give you the name of the road that you are traveling on, but many can also give you exact coordinates including longitude and latitude so that you can find yourself on a map as needed.

Receiving directions. GPS systems come loaded with highly detailed maps, and they will be able to give you concise, step by step directions depending on where you are trying to go. Simply put in your intended destination and your current location and the directions will lead you to where you need to go.

Safety considerations. GPS systems can read the directions to a specified destination to you, meaning that you can keep your focus on the road rather than on the map while you are driving. Many GPS setups also can function as a hands free device on your cell phone, which means that you can access them quickly and easily. Your GPS may also be able to broadcast to emergency crews where you are in the event of an accident.

Avoiding traffic. Many GPS systems are capable of monitoring traffic and helping you to avoid it by steering you in the opposite direction. Your GPS will be able to provide you with up to date traffic news so that you know the best way to get home.

Security is a major concern for many people. Everyone wants to feel that either their house, building or business is safe. They want to feel safe while they are asleep and feel as if someone is watching over their building and belongings while they are gone. In order to keep that level of security going many people will turn to a security system to back up their feeling of security.

Security systems can keep watch over a house or location and notify either the owners or a central security location if there is something amiss. There are hundreds of different types of security systems out there on the market, but they can essentially be split into four different types of groups. Here is a look at the various types of security systems available.

Unmonitored. These are security systems that are wired to alert owners that there is something amiss. Unmonitored security systems work off of sensors that will detect motion or noise and those will set off the alarms. In most cases these are used to scare away potential thieves. If these types of security devises are tripped a home owner will need to be nearby in order to know that there is something going wrong.

Monitored. Monitored security system will work off of sensors and noise just like the unmonitored devices do. However, the major difference is that once one of these sensors are tripped it will notify a central location that something is going on. This location can send out help and notify home or business owners that there is a security breach.

There is no right or wrong type of security system to choose from. Depending upon the type of security that you are looking for one will work better than the other. It is a good idea to go over why you are looking to install a security system so that you get the right system for your home or business.

The world is getting rougher every day. Thieves are finding their way into homes and businesses and taking thousands of dollars in property. This situation may have gotten you to think about purchasing a security system for your home or business. However, with so many security systems out there to purchase it can be hard to choose which security system you should purchase for your home or office.

Here is a list of questions you should ask yourself when looking at security systems that will help you decide which system is right for your home or office.

Do I Need a Backup System? There are two types of systems, hardwired and wireless. Many times thieves will cut the wires and can enter the home or office with no one the wiser to it. If you have a concern for a back up system you may want to inquire about what type of back up system is present should the wires be cut.

What Happens If There is A Power Failure? A power failure can occur at any time and you will still want your house or office protected. Make sure that you know if the system has a backup during power failures. Does it run on batteries or a back up system? Can your system be accessed remotely from another terminal using a computer program like Putty or even Tight VNC in case there is power failure at your home or even at the main security headquarters?

What Purpose Do You Want The Security System to Serve? Some security systems are only out there to scare away thieves while others are meant to actually trap them and alert authorities. In order to find what system will best suit your needs you need to ask yourself what purpose you wish to have the system serve.

Are there fees for calls to the house? If your system runs on a call center you might want to ask about fees should they come to the house. Some systems will allow you a certain amount of call outs before you are charged, others will charge if it is a false alarm.
